1. How do I get a library card?

If you are over the age of eighteen, you need a picture ID (driver license, State ID) and two additional pieces of mail to verify your address (bills, check book, insurance ID card) if you are under eighteen, your parents must come in and apply for library card.

 

2. Do I need a library card to use the internet or computer?

Yes you need a library card.

 

3. Does the library have a copy machine?

Yes the library has a copier. Copies are .20 cents a piece.

 

4. Can I print out from the computers?

Yes, .20 cents a copy.

 

5. Is there a limit on the amount of books checked out?

No, a person may check as many books as they like. Please remember that you are responsible for all books checked out this includes lost or damaged books.

 

6. Does the library have a public fax machine?

Yes.

 

7. Can videos be checked on any card?

No, videos can only be checked out on adult cards.

 

8. Does the library have wireless internet connection?

Yes.

 

9. What is the fine for late books?

.25 cents a day is the late charge and $ 1.00 per day on videos. Books are checked out for three weeks and videos for three days.

 

10. Does the library provide internet and computer classes?

 No, however the library does have training books and videos on the subject.
