Computer Classes

The San Benito Public Library offers free Computer Classes to the public.

The courses offered are classified as follow:

Beginner

This course introduces the basic computer usage to the public. It is designed to the public that have very little or no experience about how to use a computer. The subjects covered in the course are: Introduction to computers, Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Emails (Electronic mail).
Prerequisites: None

Intermediate

This course is focused in solving office daily-tasks with Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and building basic websites.
Prerequisites: In order to take this course it is recommended to complete the beginner course or to have the basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Special Courses

Special courses are focused in the study of a specific subject. (to create websites, graphic design, programming, etc.)
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge using computers
