The Police Department is composed of four divisions:

Patrol is responsible for the enforcement of local and state laws and ensuring public safety, this division consists of one commander, two captains, three lieutenants, three sergeants and 24 patrol officers.

The Criminal Investigative Division is responsible for the follow up and solving of crimes that occur in the city, this division is composed of one captain, three lieutenant/investigators, and two sergeants/investigators and three investigators.

The Support/Communications Division is responsible for all equipment upkeep, receiving and dispatching calls and retention of records and filing.  This division is composed of four dispatches, three record clerks, and an administrative technician.

The Special Investigative Division is responsible for investigation narcotics, and other major crimes, this division is composed of one sergeant and two narcotics investigators.
