Purpose
All permits and licenses issued by the City of San Benito grants legal permission to:
- Commence operating a business or function
- Demolish or remove a structure
- Start a construction project
It also allows the enforcement of the codes which have been adopted as law by the State of Texas, Cameron County or City of San Benito. No matter what the specific project, business or function may be, the enforcement of codes is carried out to protect the public health, safety and welfare.
