The Special Events Board is appointed by the San Benito City Commission. The Board helps plan and coordinate such festivals as ResacaFest, Community Christmas and the San Benito Christmas Parade.
The Special Events Board meets the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the San Benito Municipal Building.
Upon request, the Board will hear requests for support from non-profit groups for assistance. Volunteer support is welcome from groups and organizations; school, church and civic groups and citizens, to help in the production of these events.
