• Maintain your property and mow your lawn regularly. 

• Drain all standing water from containers such as bird baths and flower pots.

• Get rid of old tires; they collect water. 

• Store wheelbarrows, canoes, etc. upside down. 

• Repair leaky faucets so standing water won't collect.
