We may have had a lot of rain here in the RGV this past summer thanks to Hurricane Hanna. However, drought conditions have actually deteriorated in some areas across the state and especially here in Deep South Texas, which has experienced warmer than normal temperatures, combined with rainfall less than 25 percent of normal over the last 90 days.
