Cold and wintry weather will remain in control over Deep South Texas and the RGV as a series of cold Arctic airmasses will move over the region. As the temperatures drop steadily throughout the weekend and into next week, the chances for a wintry mix of precipitation will increase Sunday Night into Monday. The temperatures will start to warm up a bit on Wednesday.
