Recent rainfall has helped much of the RGV.
However, both Amistad and Falcon reservoirs remain low. As of August 23, Amistad had reached 24.9 percent and Falcon 13.3 percent of capacity. We still have a long way to go to be in full recovery mode for water distribution from Amistad/Falcon into the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
Therefore, the City remains under Stage 2 Mandatory Water Conservation restrictions.
