Abnormally Dry and Moderate drought conditions continue to spread to the north of the RGV. Meanwhile, the bulk of the Valley remains drought free.
The City remains, however, under Stage 1 Voluntary Conservation because the combined levels of Falcon and Amistad Lakes continue to hover at just over 30 percent of capacity. If these levels drop below 25 percent, as they did this past summer, the City will, once again, move into Stage 2 Mandatory Water Conservation Restrictions.
PLEASE do your part and CONSERVE WATER.
