The drought continues to widen. In just one week, Moderate and Severe Drought conditions have expanded in areas to our north and Starr County. respectively. Also, Abnormally Dry conditions have widened in Hidalgo County.
Meanwhile, reservoir levels at Falcon and Amistad Lakes remain well below normal.
The bottom line: CONSERVE WATER.
